During a trip to South America in the early 1990s he experienced a major religious revelation while under the influence of a popular local hallucinogen. As a result of this he came home a changed man and soon appeared on the Terry Wogan show to talk about this experience, where he claimed to be the son of God, or at least a son of God. This led to Terry Wogan mocking him and ruined his TV sports career.

Since then he has earned his living producing and selling books regarding the ideas revealed to him and that he has developed since.

Early Life

Must have had one but nothing of note really until the famous Terry Wogan interview, after which he was a household name outside sports.
